M.A.M.A. Advisory

Turning African opportunities into real results.

— By bridging boardroom ambition with execution on the ground.

Most companies don't fail in Africa because of lack of opportunity. They fail in the ability to act on it.

Some lack a clear strategy. Others struggle to execute on it — often too late.

The challenge is not the opportunity itself, but the ability to turn intent into execution on the ground.

That is where M.A.M.A. Advisory works.

The opportunity

Why Africa

Africa is one of the most significant growth markets for global business. But the real story is not potential — it is pace.

Many still underestimate the speed at which African markets are evolving — and the cost of entering too late.

Yet many companies still lack a clear Africa strategy — and some are not present at all.

Why?

The reality

The Execution Gap

The complexity of navigating African markets

Many international companies still lack a clear Africa strategy — not because the opportunity is unclear, but because the path to execution is.

Markets are perceived as complex, fragmented or high-risk. In reality, the challenge is navigating them effectively.

Even when ambition exists, translating strategy into action on the ground remains difficult.

The result is an execution gap — the distance between intent and what actually happens.

That is where M.A.M.A. Advisory works.

Our model

What We Do

M.A.M.A. Advisory works directly with leadership teams and senior decision-makers expanding into African markets.

We operate through mandate-based engagements — taking responsibility for translating strategy into execution on the ground.

This includes building and activating local partnerships, navigating complex operating environments, and driving commercial traction.

We do not operate from a distance. We work on the ground — leveraging trusted relationships and local insight to move opportunities from concept to execution.

Our origin

The M.A.M.A. Story

The M.A.M.A. story — presence earned on the ground

M.A.M.A. stands for Market Access & Management Africa. But the name carries deeper meanings as well.

In many African cultures, “Mama” is a term of deep respect — reserved for women who lead, who build, who create something lasting. It represents strength, trust, and the kind of quiet authority that comes from earning it on the ground.

For our founder, Sara Radu, the name is also personal. It's the nickname she was given by the local teams she built and worked alongside across the continent — a name earned through presence, trust, and a way of leading that isn't distant or theoretical.

The name reflects how we work: grounded in relationships, cultural fluency and the belief that meaningful progress in Africa comes from presence, not distance.

We don't just advise. We help make it happen.
